A Support Coordinator helps you to put your plan into action, connecting you in with services and supports that are effective and purposeful to your wellbeing. We also make sure the services that you receive are in line with your NDIS budgets. We help to organise these supports for you and monitor them over time, to make sure the support you are receiving is of high quality and working towards achieving your goals.
Managing and understanding your NDIS plan, and what supports you can receive, can be complicated. Having a Support Coordinator allows you to work with an empathic professional to educate you on how your NDIS plan can be used. As you’re learning how to do coordinate your own services, your Support Coordinator will take care of all the administration and communication. We will never make decisions for you. We support you based on the decisions and choices you would like to make and above all else, promote your self-agency.
The NDIS decides whether you are eligible for Support Coordination funding in your NDIS plan. This is how our services are paid for. Whether you can be funded for Support Coordination depends on your unique circumstances, and how you communicate this to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
